GL Jabba requirement predictions

The first group of 5 requirements have been announced. They are:
Krrsantan R5
Han Solo R8
Greedo R6
Gamorrean Guard R3
Outrider 7 stars
I have a feeling Jedi Knight Luke will be required at R9. I'm expecting 2 R9s for Jabba, and I think CG does consider the quality of the character when requiring it for something at max relic levels.
Other characters I think may be needed:
Boba Fett R9 (Worried it will be Dad Bod Boba even though Jabba was already dead when DBB takes his throne.)
Bib Fortune R5 (new marquee)
Chewie R8 (He was on the barge just like Han.)
Mob Enforcer R3 (Already given the Hutt Cartel tag and few players have her geared.)
EV-9 R5 (another marquee)
Zuckuss R5 (Need some BHs among the new marquees.)
4-LOM R5
Leia or Lando R7 (Maybe even both.)
Embo, Dengar or Cad Bane R7
Who else do you think will be needed?

My feeling is all the ones that got the Hutt Cartel tag will be needed, so Boba, Bane, Embo, and Mob Enforcer. I definitely think Bib Fortuna and EV-9D9. EV will probably work well with their 5OR-T droid. In fact, it would have made a lot more sense to scrap the fanfic droid entirely and just have her kit be EV’s.
So that’s 11/15 requirements. I don’t know about more new characters beyond those two. Leia and Lando. They can work, but their versions aren’t quite right. My guess is JKL, R2, and C-3PO. All three are connected to Jabba’s palace and it nicely fills out the last three spots.
I guess R9 for JKL wouldn’t be too bad. Boba would be a bit of a waste, but at least he’ll have a good shot at being in the final Jabba team. I’m figuring on something like:
Jabba (L), Bib, Boba, Krrsantan, and Gam Guard
I guess it really depends on what the contract for Jabba will be. You might need more BHs to complete it. Or it could be like the newer BHs that let you use scoundrels to complete it. Except, it would probably be Hutt Cartel units or BHs.
I’m pretty much planning on doing Jabba after the Profundity. All I have left is one relic for Cassian and Raddus at G11. The rest are finished. Getting Raddus to R9 is going to be painful, but I’ll basically have until I finish farming him to get the stuff I need. Everything else will be saving for Jabba requirements.

R2 and 3P0 would be a nice gesture from CG since most players have them at relics already. I’m down with that.

The second set is out:
• Skiff Guard (Lando Calrissian), Relic 5
• Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, Relic 7
• Jawa, Relic 3
• URoRRuR'R'R, Relic 4
• C-3PO, Relic 7
That’s in the middle. JKL is a gimmie. C-3PO isn’t bad, either. I already have him at R5. R7 isn’t as big of a deal nowadays. We already knew Skando was going to be needed at R5.
UR is an interesting choice. I am somewhat intrigued considering LV required Tusken. That 3v3 omicron could be a lot more viable if we’re only talking about gearing Shaman. Still, it’s only good for 3v3, so it’s very narrow.
Jawa is just sunk cost. I know there are some people who geared Jawas for Rey, but there aren’t many.
Overall, I’m noticing that the relic requirements are not anywhere near as high as LV. Could be JMK or below, depending on the last set. I wonder if that means they don’t want Jabba to be seen as the new top GL or if they think LV was just too expensive. It very well could be. A lot of the complaints about LV stem from him being the hardest to get, but not being the best. If Jabba isn’t as difficult to do, expectations won’t be as high.

CG does seem almost kind with Jabba's requirements thus far. I'm stunned, but not complaining, that Jedi Knight Luke is only needed at R7. Can't complain about 3P0 either when most players will already have him at R5.
I'm one of the few who geared Chief Nebit, Jawa Engineer and Jawa Scavenger for the CRancor raid. Adding Jawa to the squad at relics will actually help me. I probably have a 90% win rate with them against MM squads in both GAC and TW, so they've easily proven their worth.
Also think you're right about the requirements shaping our expectations about a character's power level and that CG may very well be trying to manage our expectations for Jabba, at least until he gets a lifter unit.
Overall, I'm pleased with Jabba's requirements with only 5 more to come.

Yeah, I would have bet a lot of JKL being needed at R8 if he was going to be required.
Yeah, I’ve heard Jawas can be useful. I feel like it’s one of those situations where if you wait too long, you just miss it. I mean I can’t ever imagine myself going back and gearing them at this point. Setting aside the new stuff always coming out, there are a lot of other characters/teams that I would probably do first.
I definitely agree. The requirements so far are not that bad. I think we might all have Stockholm syndrome for even thinking that, but here we are.
Based on some datamined pack info, I’m guessing the Profundity is coming next week. They just show the name of the packs, but they do sound like they would be related. There’s also some packs coming the week after that, which specifically call out Cassian and Bistan’s U-wing, so it could be the last week of August. Either way, there’s no chance I’ll be ready for the first event. I’m going to have to catch it the next one.
But all I really have left is the signal data, which isn’t too much. After that, I think I’m going to just hoard gear. I’m probably going end up doing Ben Solo before going all-in on Jabba. Farming the new characters would gate me anyway and it’s not like most of the requirements we have now are really useful outside of a Jabba team.

I already have enough salvage to get everything I need to promote Cassian to R8 and Raddus to R9. The only bottleneck for me is Raddus' shards. It sure looks like this event will be similar to the Executor, so I was thinking it may be smarter to wait for the second time around so I can save crystals for refreshes and more Profundity blueprints. It may backfire If I go all in on Raddus shards to get Profundity at just 4 or 5 stars when it's released.
Gearing up Solo seems like a smart play before diving into Jabba requirements. I'll probably do the same. I'm even thinking of taking Sortie to relics. He's (at least I think it's a he) been fun to use and really makes LS droids a force to be reckoned with.

Really, not that bad. Boba is another gimmie for a lot of players.
Aura is a bit niche. Then again, a lot of people do have OG Mando geared, so she is good for that. Sigh, I’m actually going to have to gear him now, won’t I?
Fennec is actually kind of nice, since I already have Scion Boba geared, but he’s not much good without her. This would force me to finally get around to gearing her.
Mob Enforcer’s new kit is interesting, I guess. More thermal detonator stuff, which I guess is going to be Jabba’s main push?

Overall, I'd say CG was kind to us with Jabba's requirements. Only one R8 (Han Solo) and no R9s (Yay!). I know there are videos of Fennec being used to take out LV squads, so I've wanted to gear her up. It was just a matter of when. She'll probably be the first one I gear outside of the characters who just need relic levels like Han and 3P0.
I have Aurra at G11 and was close to gearing her at one point for the Sith Raid, but like many good plans in this game, it changed when something else more important came down the pipeline.
